Reservation Coordinator

Dakota Hotels are seeking two Reservations Coordinators to be based in our offices located in Millshaw, Leeds, LS11 8EG. The location is a 15-20 min walk from Cottingley train station and a 10min walk from White Rose Shopping Centre accessible by bus.

The role would be a reservations and guest relations point of contact for Dakota Deluxe Leeds and Manchester in a central location.

Dakota Deluxe Leeds is currently the city's number 1 hotel on Trip Advisor; we are a luxury city-centre hotel with 84-bedrooms including 6 suites, a destination cocktail Bar and brasserie-style.

CONTRACT AND PAY RATE

There is a part-time or full-time contract option, from 24 to 40 hours based on the needs of the applicant.

The earliest shift start time is 9am and the latest finish is 8pm. Shift days are generally Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.

Pay rate is £19,000 per year paid monthly with up to £1000 annual bonus.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

–Deliver fantastic guest service as a telephone-based reservationist, securing bedroom and table bookings for guests who contact to enquire.

–Coordinate guest stays, offering additional services and packages, noting guest requests and building profile preferences.

–To be confident in computer use and develop a comprehensive knowledge of our bedroom and restaurant booking systems.

–Provide a consistently excellent level of guest service in accordance to our service principles and values, ensuring that all guests receive special attention and recognition.

–Work closely alongside all other departments to ensure excellent communication and be proactive in assisting other departments as required.

–Offer additional services to make the guest experience more seamless i.e. making restaurant reservations, assisting in directions, delivering items to room.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

As well as having a desire to learn and an enthusiasm for the role and full training will be given. The successful applicant will have/be:

–At least 1 year working experience as a receptionist, travel agent, or other relevant coordination role.

–Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

–Be flexible in working shift patterns required.

–Successful candidates will have an outgoing personality and be confident in providing dynamic service.
