40hrs - Primarily Monday - Friday with at least one weekend a month

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hard working individual to join our Central Reservations Team. We are interested in people who will take pride in their work and have an eye for attention to detail.  We require confident employees with flair and individuality with an outgoing & friendly personality.  Due to the nature of our department, we require someone with strong administrative skills and an excellent telephone manner.

You will be asked to work as part of a team as well as being able to take your own initiative and work individually.  We will require an individual with great customer service skills, organisational skills and flexibility.

Your role will require you to provide information relating to club facilities (including Accommodation, Golf, Spa, Events, Transport, Outdoor Pursuits and Restaurants) to members and their guests via phone, fax, email and/or in-house requests, as well as daily responsibilities pertaining to the club reservations Department. The Central Reservations Department is open Monday-Sunday from 8am-7pm and shifts relating to these opening hours will be required. Driving license is essential due to the remote location of the business.

 The role

  • Ensure that all phone calls are answered and handled politely and professionally and that every attempt is made to ensure the member makes a reservation while actively selling all of the Clubs facilities.
  • Check email throughout the day and respond as warranted.
  • Book reservations as warranted with follow up on confirmation, for accommodation, golf, dining, spa, transport, outdoor pursuits and any other special requests in accordance with Club rules. 
  • Complete filing on a daily basis; this must be completed at the end of every day.
  • Continuously keep yourself up-to-date on all club facilities and offerings (i.e. menus, treatments, outdoor pursuits etc.)
  • Exceed all member expectations at all times through excellent service.
  • Ensure that effective communication prevails within the department and those departments it interacts with.
