Social Sales Manager - Ennismore London

We are looking for a Social Sales Manager to join our rapidly growing London Sales Team! You will be responsible for selling an innovative and interesting mix of event spaces across our London portfolio for parties, private events and special occasions.

You will have the opportunity to sell some of the most sought-after event space in London including The Hoxton, Shoreditch and The Hoxton, Holborn in addition to The Hoxton, Southwark which opens mid 2019 featuring a fabulous rooftop bar and restaurant and The Hoxton, Shepherds Bush, due to open in 2020. You will also be responsible for selling Ennismore Sessions House, our recently launched event space based in the heart of Clerkenwell. Ennismore Sessions House is a Grade II* listed building that is not only home to us at Ennismore, but also one of the most exciting event spaces to launch in the London market this year.

We are looking for someone with a sales background, who has previously been responsible for targeting social event business for either venues, restaurants, bars or private members clubs, someone who can join with a little black book of contacts! You don’t need to have a background in hotel sales, we can teach you everything you need to know about the wonderful world of hotels!

What you’ll do…

  • Responsible for driving event business into all our spaces across our London portfolio, specifically targeting social events, parties and private celebrations.
  • Manage a portfolio of new and existing contacts and accounts including relationships with individuals, corporate accounts and events agencies.
  • Responsible for driving our social event strategies including continuously reviewing our social offering, creating promotions and seasonal campaigns to drive social event business.
  • Prepare and execute sales strategies to grow awareness of all our event space across our London portfolio.
  • Represent The Hoxton & Ennismore at industry networking events and on sales trips and organise on-site client entertainment to showcase our spaces.
  • Support the reactive Events team with show-rounds and conversion of high value enquiries.
  • Provide local market knowledge that helps us stay ahead of the competition.
  • Work with the Head of Sales, London on pre-opening sales activities to ensure successful launches of each of our new openings across London.

  • Someone with a background selling event spaces for social events, a hotel background is not required, but experience selling innovative and creative spaces is preferred
  • You’re dynamic and have a proven track record of being able to grow and nurture long lasting relationships
  • You’re proactive with great enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • You’re passionate about events and goal driven
  • You’re able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-growth environment that relies in many ways on being flexible and moving fast
