Landscape Gardener - Lochgoilhead

Located within Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park, Drimsynie Estate nestles below the mountains, offering spectacular panoramic views across Loch Goil and the Arrochar Alps.   Recently redeveloped, Drimsynie Estate is a 5 star holiday park offering holiday home ownership, lodge and holiday home breaks and a stunning 19 bedroom 4 star hotel.

To help us maintain and develop our beautiful grounds we are looking for a Landscape Gardener to join our Estate team.  The role will involve completing general garden duties but also assist with shaping the future of the holiday park. 

A passion for horticulture is a must and you will already have significant practical experience in improving and maintaining formal grounds, shrubbery, planters, woodland, turf and herbaceous plants.

This coupled with a keen eye for detail and a love of plants; the ability to accept responsibility for both daily and long term challenges, both expected and unexpected, and the ability to follow through to get the job done will ensure your success in the role.

A formal qualification such as Horticulture NVQ 2 (or similar) is desirable.  A full UK driving licence and experience operating a wide range of garden machinery are essential. 

We’re a busy team, so self-discipline and time management skills are vital. Working closely with colleagues will be important to you, and you'll have the skills to communicate with a range of people.
