This is the ideal opportunity for a professional, personable and discreet Hall Porter to use their hospitality expertise to deliver the highest standards of service and hospitality to our valued members and their guests here at our Pall Mall clubhouse in London.

The role: As Hall Porter you will ensure that all Members are recognised and greeted in a friendly and warm manner, while also handling queries professionally and making sure that luggage assistance is provided efficiently to all arriving and departing Members. You’ll gain a detailed knowledge of the clubhouse, its rules (especially dress code) and facilities, keeping the entrance to the Club clean and tidy while assisting other departments as required. You must be alert to any potential security related issues and report any suspicious activity to the Security Manager. You must also be willing to assist other functions at busy times, including reception/ reservations and food and beverage outlets.

The person: A friendly and well-presented individual with first-class people skills, you will ideally have experience in a similar luxurious establishment and possess excellent customer service and telephone skills. A flexible approach to your work and strong team ethic is also vital. We’ll also expect you to have, or develop, a strong knowledge of the local area, restaurants, attractions and services and to maintain and refresh this to enable you to advise Members.
