Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a temporary Part Time Hygiene Team Leader. Your responsibility will be to ensure your team are working to a schedule in a professional manor, taking pride in achieving a clean and hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agreeing and setting targets with the Supervisor for standards and staff hours, whilst monitoring and reviewing departmental performance on a regular basis
  • Communicating information about bakery targets and operational planning requirements to the team using the most appropriate means of communication
  • Identifying efficiency improvements to supply chain operations, applying GPS tools and techniques
  • Ensuring all activities within the department conform to agreed food safety and health and safety requirements
  • Responding effectively to a range of internal queries
  • Ensuring all areas of kept clean, tidy and hygienic throughout the day
  • Enforcing personal cleanliness and the wearing of Company regulation uniform
  • Maintaining a positive atmosphere and encouraging the team to work within the Values

           

Skills

  • An ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Previous Team Leader experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • A sound knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
  • Basic numeracy and computer skills
