An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Professional to join our team at Guildford Harbour Hotel & Spa, part of the UK’s fastest growing Luxury Lifestyle Hotel Group.
Reporting to the Group Director of Sales and indirectly to the hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for selling all areas of the property, with an emphasis on Meetings & Events and Accommodation business. Your focus will be to develop and maximise business from a portfolio of existing and new potential clients into the hotel, and developing and executing the sales strategy for 2019, repositioning the hotel within the Business Travel and Meetings & Events market.
The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and business development within the Hospitality sector, and a strong track record in proactively growing Corporate transient and Meetings & Events sales from new and existing clients, within a Hotel or Meetings & Events Venue environment. You will have a passion and drive to take the business forward, and will need to be an effective communicator with a warm and welcoming personality, have exceptional attention to detail, an immaculate presentation and a passion for developing strong mutually beneficial client partnerships. Experience in pre-opening, repositioning or re-branding is desirable.
The 183 bedroom Guildford Harbour Hotel offers two stylish restaurants: The group’s signature restaurant ‘The Jetty’ and all day dining restaurant ‘HarBar’. The hotel also boasts the Long Bar and Long Bar Late which is the perfect destination Bar within the town. The property has a state of the art gym, ‘HarSpa’ and outdoor pool and terrace.
