Assistant PDR Manager - Annabel’s - Mayfair, London

We are looking for experienced and charismatic Assistant PDR Manager to join the team at Annabel’s private members club, part of the Birley Group. 

The Birley Group encompasses some of London’s finest private members clubs; Annabel’s, Mark’s Club, Harry’s Bar, George and Bath & Racquets all based in Mayfair. Arguably one of London’s most iconic members clubs founded in 1963, Annabel’s is the only one of its kind; a members-only dancing and dining club offering sophisticated entertainment and excellent food in the heart of Mayfair. 

As the Assistant Private Dining Room Manager you will work closely with the PDR Manager ensuring that the highest levels of service are provided to our guests at all times across our two PDRs. You will be required to supervise and train floor staff and to ensure that events go smoothly and efficiently. As Assistant PDR Manager you will liaise with the Events Manager on a regular basis and attend weekly events meetings as well as tastings. On occasion, you may be required to work across other floors of Club when the private dining rooms are not in use. 

The ideal candidate for the Assistant PDR Manager will have following skills and experience: 

  • Previous experience in a Private Dining / Event Operations role in a busy, high quality restaurant, private members club or hotel environment
  • Previous experience within a premium quality customer facing environment is essential 
  • Solid experience as a Assistant Restaurant Manager / Head Waiter in a private members club or restaurant environment is highly desirable
  • A genuine passion for creating an excellent guest experience 
  • The ability to multi task and effectively react to changing member / guest needs
  • Immaculate presentation and excellent command of the English language as well as strong communication skills
  • An excellent team player with good administrative ability
  • Experience of proactively working to support the management team to develop the business
