Doorman - Balthazar - Covent Garden, London

We are looking for an experienced full-time Doorman to join the team at Balthazar in the heart of Covent Garden.

Balthazar restaurant is renowned for delivering a friendly and flawless service within a Parisian style, lively and bustling brassiere. The French brasserie and bistro dishes combine the best ingredients with the most traditional methods to produce food of exceptional quality. The restaurant delivers all day dining from a team who are passionate about delivering friendly, relaxed and energetic service in a vibrant and fast paced environment. 

As full-time Doorman, working Saturday and Sunday evenings, you will be expected to welcome our customers on arrival and assist them as appropriate guiding them to the reception area. In addition the Doorman will help customers when leaving the restaurant to get taxis and/or the provision of accurate directions. Effective communication with the Reception Team is essential to ensure awareness of business levels each day and any particular special requirements or assistance required for our customers. 

The ideal Doorman will: 

• Have previous experience as a Doorman, preferably for a high quality restaurant, club or hotel
• Have a valid SIA licence
• Possess strong customer service skills and enjoy interacting with customers
• A knowledge of Covent Garden and the surrounding area would be beneficial
• Be well present and professional at all times
