We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Colleague Engagement Manager. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Engagement, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of the Engagement plans within the Engagement team and also be responsible for interpreting, analysing and translating the data into meaningful insight and actions.

About you:
  • You’ll have some evidence of an ability to influence and engage with Functional Directors and experience working with external suppliers
  • With previous experience of working in the Engagement field, you’ll have previously run an engagement survey covering all areas from design through to development through to the administration and reporting
  • Ideally you’ll have previous evidence of line management with accountability for short term project plans
  • You should have a blend of skills and be methodical and analytical with an element of creativity
  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Manager – Engagement with designing and delivering the strategy for improving colleague engagement with approved objectives
  • Translate external engagement research into deliverable internal activity and measurement tools. Provide insight, perspective and recommendations to the Senior Manager – Engagement on engagement opportunities and potential risks for the business
  • Provide engagement analytics and insight to inform business decision making to drive high levels of engagement and colleague effort
  • Provide insight, perspectives and share examples of best practice to the Senior Manager – Engagement to support the development of the engagement plans across Asda
  • Plan and deliver the Your Voice engagement survey
  • Develop and maintain relationships internally and with external providers / Walmart teams to ensure operational plans are delivered on time and effectively
  • Support direct reporting team members to develop professional expertise in the creation and design of engagement activity and measurement
  • Ensure that no activity is launched before being trialled and evaluated
  • Ensure all activity is delivered on time to the agreed standard and budget and in a professional manner. Escalate any critical path performance issues with actionable recommendations
