RAID (Revenue, Air, Inventory and Deployment) Systems Analyst - Shore Based - Southampton
Carnival UK has big plans for the future! Already the market leader, CUK (which operates the P&O Cruises and Cunard brands) will grow by 50% by 2022 as we add new ships to the fleet and further transform the industry by making cruising a mainstream holiday for UK guests.
The Revenue Management and Destination Planning (RM&DP) teams at Carnival House curate over 1,000,000 price points, ensure we have sufficient cruise and flight inventory for over 750,000 guests every year and develop exciting and innovate itineraries for our 10 stunning ships. To do all this effectively, the teams need industry-leading data, tools and systems.
As an Analyst in the RAID Systems team, you will be a true subject matter expert (SME) in relation to all the data, tools and systems in the RM&DP space, divining current and future business requirements and using your technical skills and positive, pro-active approach to support and enhance the toolset that’s fundamental to delivering our revenue performance.
As a RAID (Revenue, Air, Inventory and Deployment) Systems Analyst, you will:
- Become a true subject matter expert (SME) in relation to the Revenue Management toolset, focussing on supporting the requirements of the Destination & Deployment Planning and brand Air teams.
- Be an advocate for each of our RM&DP systems (such as our new Revenue Management System) – increasing understanding and effective use of them throughout the business.
- Divine current and future business requirements in relation to RM&DP data and tools.
- Analyse these business requirements and work with relevant stakeholders (e.g. IT) to remove barriers, and develop and implement appropriate solutions.
- Build (where appropriate, and within existing tool frameworks such as Excel and Tableau), embed and support tools fundamental to delivering our revenue performance
