F&B Supervisor

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Restaurant/Bar/Events depending on your shift. You will maintain consistent standards of service, ensuring guest satisfaction whilst creating a working environment that supports organisational values.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and have an interest in coaching & developing our team of F&B Assistants .

Requirements

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Be the manager on shift during service in the Lounge, Restaurant and Bar, or manage events.
  • Be present to meet and greet customers checking requirements and passing on relevant information (e.g. fire evacuation procedure, message system, etc.).
  • Check and monitor that all beverages and food items are prepared and served according to company standards and within statutory regulations - maintaining customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Have full product knowledge of the facilities offered at the hotel.
  • Devise and train staff on promotions, including drinks and bar snacks.
  • Positively dealing with and learning from customer complaints and comments.
  • To support with initiative and commitment to the overall objectives of the business in terms of revenue, costs and teamwork.

Applicants will have good all round food service & bar skills. Being a natural people person who can build rapport with guests and staff you will supervise staff on your shifts to ensure a consistently high service delivery and guest satisfaction.

You will be confident with people face-to-face, be able to sell and think on your feet
You should enjoy the physical nature of the job, enjoy being part of a team, have a flair for customer service and take satisfaction in a job well done.
You should have relevant previous experience

You must be over the age of 18 years; as you will be required to work in the Bar and employment is subject to a basic disclosure check.

Hours: average of 40hrs PW on a rota basis (including various shifts early/late covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekends and bank holidays).This is not a live-in position
