General Manager - Golf Club - Stourbridge

Set in stunning grounds, this is a wonderful opportunity to become the General Manager of a Golf Club near Stourbridge West Midlands which is soon to receive significant investment with several great courses for all abilities, driving range and great club house for functions and events.

This is a commercial General Manager post as you will be tasked with developing and delivering the business plan to drive green fees, golf membership, golf society days, retail, food and beverage and events income for the club. You will also be the host of the club, responsible for creating a warm and friendly customer experience as well as managing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the grounds and club house. This is a hands-on role so you will be expected to lead by example but you will also have a small management team to inspire, coach and develop and together achieve your commercial objectives.

To apply you will have worked in a commercial golf club or centre as a Club Manager, General Manager, Centre Manager or possibly Director of Golf and have exposure to driving revenue through green fees, membership and/or forward bookings. You will be experienced in leading, inspiring and cultivating high performing teams and have experience in managing budgets.
