Based at our Head Office in Lochgoilhead, we are looking for a loyal, ambitious and professional Health and Safety Manager who can add real value to the business.

Key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure the Company is compliant with Health & Safety legislation and best practice, through hazard analysis and risk control
  • Ensure successful implementation of the Health & Safety practices within appropriate safety, quality, budget and time constraints.
  • Review, investigate and develop appropriate recommendations regarding current practices.
  • Regularly undertake workplace assessments and investigations to determine level of risk, identifying potential hazards, assess the risks and report potential hazards offering supportive corrective recommendations.
  • Write, update and regularly review Risk Assessments across all business areas.
  • Assist and advise Managers in their role to comply with health and safety policies and legislation
  • Prepare monthly updates and other timely reports to reflect operating effectiveness and proactive risk management
  • Carry out relevant Health & Safety training either directly or via a provider.
  • Conduct drills and evacuations to ensure all staff and guests alike are aware of the process and act accordingly.

Person Specification

  • Ideally from a Holiday Park background
  • Essential is a sense of humour
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with some design and delivery 
  • Degree in Health & Safety or Risk Management or associated degree
  • NEBOSH/IOSHH certificate or equivalent.
  • Enthusiastic, resilient, robust personality with a positive can-do mentality.
