Labourer/Handyman - Harrow School

Permanent full-time, £24,500 - £27,500

An opportunity has arisen for a Labourer/Handyman to join our fully comprehensive in-house Estates team who oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the School’s historic estate.

The Harrow School Estates team prides itself on providing the highest standard and quality of workmanship across its estate. We are seeking proactive individuals who are keen to take on this opportunity and develop in all areas of workmanship. Encompassing the repair, construction and maintenance of the boarding Houses, academic buildings and residential properties, the work is varied and fulfilling, particularly its role in the conservation of listed and historic buildings.

Candidates should have proven knowledge of building control, CDM and listed buildings regulations in addition to the ability to read building specifications. Heavy lifting will be required, and candidates must be trustworthy, flexible and reliable.

Applicants should work to high standards and be able to work unsupervised.
