Sous Chef

We’re looking for a Sous Chef to join the crew at The Jetty Restaurant, Mudeford.

Winner of the Caterer and Seafish ‘Seafood Restaurant of the Year 2016’,The Jetty is a multiple award-winning restaurant, perched on the water’s edge in the grounds of Christchurch Harbour Hotel & Spa. Alex Aitken, one of the South of England’s most respected chefs, heads up the team at this Christchurch restaurant with fresh fish, caught and landed daily from Mudeford Quay, seafood including local oysters, lobster and shrimps and superb grilled fish.

We have a superb opportunity for a Sous Chef to join the Jetty Team who is experienced in working in a high end restaurant serving fresh quality food. As Sous Chef you will need to have a minimum of 18 months’ experience of working at Junior Sous level and be capable of running the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence. You will need good man-management skills, be proficient in achieving food cost targets and be familiar with current food hygiene legislation including kitchen risk assessments. We are looking for highly talented, focused and career driven individuals who want to be part of unique property.
