The hotel is one of several smart addresses on a UNESCO World Heritage site comprising seven, inter-connecting townhouses, as well as a purpose-built block of bedrooms. In addition to 199 guest rooms and suites, the hotel has refurbished dining and event space; The SPA at Principal, utilising both Oskia and Ishga brands; The Garden, a glazed courtyard serving a light menu of all-day food, afternoon tea and evening cocktails; and Baba, a Levantine-influenced restaurant.

Your day to day

You day to day duties: - Assist with all day to day account functions including cashiering and daily income audit. - To ensure the timely collection of Sales Ledger invoices. - Liaising with Front Office regarding incorrect invoices and liaising with Conference & Banqueting with regard to speed and accuracy of billing. - The maintenance and control of travel agent and credit card commission on sales ledger. - Month end procedures to include the reconciliation of the sales ledger to the nominal ledger and the maintenance of records regarding any outstanding balances on sales ledger control accounts. - The accurate allocation of sales ledger receipts. - The accurate allocation of deposit ledger receipts. - To ensure the accuracy of invoicing prior to dispatch. Ensure that invoice and payment queries are resolved quickly and efficiently within the designated timescales. - Carry out float checks as and when required. - Prepare Petty Cash Reconciliations as and when required. - Enscess for payment on a regular basis.ure that cash is secure at all times. - Assist in the debt control procedure. - When payments are collected, ensure that the cash, BACS and cheques are banked and allocated correctly.
