Scope & General Purpose of Job  

To assist the Front Office Manager in the efficient running of the Front Office operation. To meet and greet guests on arrival ensuring the highest standard of guest care and service at all times. To supervise the Front Office and the Receptionists on duty

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months Reception Supervisor experience, ideally in a 4* or 5 * hotel. Knowledge of Opera will be advantageous

Working 5 days out of 7 including Weekends and Bank Holidays

General Duties:

• To consistently provide and maintain the highest standard of guest care and service.

• To familiarise yourself with your departmental Standards of Performance and to be able to demonstrate their application.

• To have a good knowledge of all hotel facilities and assist with questions in a polite, helpful and efficient manner.

• To handle any guest complaints or problems promptly and to ensure that all resolved/unresolved incidents are reported to your Head of Department.
