The Role

We are currently recruiting a Senior Data Services Developer to join the Technology department on a permanent basis. As a Senior Data Services Developer, you will perform hands-on development of industrialised and scalable data provisioning services as well as serving as technical lead for assigned project activity, providing governance and technical assurance of data solutions against designs. The role provides subject matter expertise to the wider Technology teams and business and is an advocate for industry best practises.

You will work with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Solution Architects to design and deliver data solutions, using batch and real time data processing technology.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and professional individual to come aboard and join a team of supportive experts at a particularly exciting time!

About You

We would expect you to have extensive experience in designing, developing and supporting BI and data platforms. You will add value by bringing a great understanding of SDLC and agile development processes including source and version controls, have experience in writing and reviewing technical documentation, and knowledge of data preparation, presentation and analytical tools.

You will thrive in a constantly changing environment and adapt easily to new emerging technologies. You will have great interpersonal skills and ability to relate with both technical and business subject matter experts. You’ll have an analytical mindset to identify opportunities for improvements, as well as progress multiple incentives simultaneously.
