About the Pub

The Flying Scotsman is a community pub in the heart of Renfrew close to both Glasgow & Paisley. This large pub is located opposite a Tesco and amongst a large amount of housing. The pub is due to undergo a significant investment which will provide an exciting and attractive new venue for the local population. The pub is popular for sport and has great viewing in 2 separate areas. The business has a good food trade to complement the liquor trade and attracts a diverse range of local customers from families dining out to groups in to watch sport, or enjoy weekend live entertainment.

The existing team is well established, experienced and enjoy working in this popular community pub. The successful candidate will understand what makes a pub the heart of the community. First and foremost they will be a people person whom locals want to go and enjoy a drink or a bite to eat with knowledge of getting the most from football, darts and other community pub activities is essential, as is the ability to think outside the box and create a rhythm of the week/ month of local activity that keeps people wanting to return.
