This is a rare opportunity to become part of the Cunard Guest Experience team shoreside, supporting teams both ship and shore to ensure Food & Beverage standards are met or exceeded across the fleet. As the Cunard Guest Experience Manager F&B you will work across a wide range of stakeholders, to confidently represent Guest Experience in order to ensure consistent and robust delivery of the required standards across the Food & Beverage department.

You will implement agreed improvements to the Food & Beverage department shipboard functions to enhance the Guest Experience by offering expert advice, guidance, operational support and direction to the Cunard fleet on changes to the Food & Beverage operation and product. In addition you will liaise closely the Cunard Operational Chef, and the Food & Beverage Managers on plans and priorities to support the delivery of an exceptional food product onboard.

In order to be successful within this role you will be educated to HND level, or equivalent graduate qualification. You will have in depth knowledge of ship operations (hotel) and experience of managing team performance in the hotel / leisure / cruise industry. You will have experience of identifying and implementing best practice in the Food & Beverage operation and delivering projects applying a ‘Plan, Do, Review’ approach to operational delivery and continuous improvement.

You will be a professional and confident communicator, who is able to build strong positive relationships working with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be able to take a balanced approach to decision making, identifying and proposing solutions to any associated risks and issues.  Good project management skills and ability to project manage across a wide range of issues are desirable in this position.

This role is based in Southampton but will require frequent travel/ship visits throughout the year when required.
