As Chef de Partie Pastry you will be managing your team to provide an efficient, smooth and financially smooth operation to ensure the guests and crew have a fantastic culinary experience in our restaurants.

As Chef de Partie Pastry your responsibilities and duties will include:

• Managing an allocated area within the Galley operation, reporting back in the Chef Patissier

• Providing professionally prepared quality food product within budget and in line with the Corporate Menu Cycle

• You are also responsible for complying with all safety, hygiene and administration procedures

• Delivering in excess of over 1000 freshly prepared covers

• Deliver staff training and have ship safety duties & responsibilities

• Working across different sections and a number of dining outlets

• The opportunity of working with our celebrity chefs; Marco Pierre White & Atul Kucher

Ideally, for this role you will have experience of working in a supervisory or management position in a busy kitchen. A proven track record of working within successful Patisseries would be advantageous. If you have experience of working on a cruise ship Galley or a high end restaurant kitchen it would be a bonus. However, the above are not essential. We believe in hiring people with the right attitudes and strengths over their competencies!

As Chef de Partie Pastry you will be expected to plan ahead for future cruises so if you are the type of person who is good at anticipating work needs this may be the role for you. In addition we would love it if you were a natural team player and energised by working with others. As part of this role you will have to liaise with other members of your team, therefore your ability to express yourself clearly and keeping others in the loop will ensure that you produce consistent, high quality products. If you feel you are naturally adaptable to changing circumstances, with great initiative this may be the job for you.
