Overview:

IT Project Manager General Overview The IT Project Manager is responsible for developing and managing technology projects and their cost, time and scope. Responsibilities include project plans, communication plans, allocating tasks and setting milestones. Additionally, the role incorporates small scale EPOS content change management in conjunction with the Carluccio's Systems Manager. Core DutiesIT Project Management (75%) The core role of the project manager is to liaise closely with the various stakeholders to ensure all IT projects are aligned to the business priorities, address the core business needs and are implemented well. This means working particularly closely with Marketing and Operations teams to:
• Understand the business critical needs and value add of the proposed technology solutions.
• Provide challenge, along with the Head of IT, to ensure technology requests are aligned to the wider business goals, with clear value add, ensuring we are doing the right projects at the right time.
• Implement rigorous project management processes that ensure proper stakeholder engagement, strong planning, early visibility of what hits the business when and delivering on time to budget.
• Develop an effective training and communications plan that embeds the right behaviours.
• Implement suitable monitoring to gauge success of projects during and after implementation.
• Manage third party suppliers with a view to optimising delivery and managing cost savings. EPOS Content Change Management (10%) In conjunction with the Systems Manager:
• Manage and action small scale change requests for menus, pricing and promotions & discounts in line with Ops, Retail, Marketing and Finance requirements. To be undertaken in a timely manner whilst ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data.
• Manage changes to the layouts of the EPOS Workstation and Tablet screens as necessary. General IT Duties (15%) The existing IT team work closely with key suppliers using an outsourced model for general IT, systems and product support. However, on occasion IT will:
• Act as a final escalation point for Restaurants regarding core system related issues (hardware or software).
• Act as an escalation point in the event of a failure of critical systems including automated data exports (e.g. from EPOS to Business Intelligence system).
• Assist with the opening/closing/refurbishment of Restaurants with regard to technology, working with Carluccio's internal teams and our third party suppliers.
• Encourage appropriate use of technology across all facets of the business.

Responsibilities:

Experience and Skills
• IT Project management experience in a retail or hospitality environment.
• Awareness of different project management and delivery methodologies, e.g. Agile, PRINCE2, waterfall.
• Knowledge of EPOS, BI, CRM, stock management, payment systems.
• Knowledge of core IT fundamentals including PC's, MS Windows, servers, on premise vs cloud, MS Office.
• Thrives in collaborative environment.
• Good communications skills, with customers, team and stakeholders.
• Business and IT strategy experience.
• Customer-focused mind-set Training will be provided in the systems used as part of the role.
