CRM Marketing Manager (Full-Time / 1 Year Fixed-Term Maternity Cover Contract)

Role Profile

We have a vacancy for a CRM Marketing Manager who will have overall responsibility for the management and delivery of ZSL’s CRM programme- with emphasis on email marketing- growing customer engagement, value and loyalty.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall CRM campaign plan and use direct marketing and CRM techniques to increase the value and understanding of ZSL to customers and supporters.
  • Analyse and segment customer data and maximise this data to deliver effective targeted CRM activity, managing the quality and frequency of messaging. Use this insight to identify opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling programmes
  • Develop and deliver customer data acquisition strategies to grow customer database, following GDPR
  • Develop customer journeys to drive retention and customer loyalty through the CRM programme (including establishing automated programmes), growing the value of each customer and overall return from CRM activity
  • Manage the work of the CRM Marketing Executive and the day to day email marketing programme ensuring delivery to campaign KPIs
  • Track and analyse campaign results (conversion rates, web analytics, ROI) to produce regular reports on channel and campaign performance
  • Ensure that the central CRM database in managed and maintained and work with members of staff across ZSL to ensure all customer data and communication is GDPR compliant and the correct procedures are in place for data collection
  • Work with ZSL Brand Manager to consolidate and manage email communications of global conservation projects
  • Work with Head of Marketing to consider how to optimise CRM across ZSL and make recommendations as required

Person Specification

  • Degree in relevant area or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience of managing a CRM programme
  • Experience in delivering marketing strategy particularly in relation to CRM
  • Excellent working knowledge of email service provider platforms and delivery of email marketing programmes
  • Proven knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation and how this applies to customer data
