We are currently looking for a Gym Instructor to develop the facilities at our Healthworks facility in Port Sunlight.  The role will involve: -

  • Ensuring that the Facility runs in a smooth and efficient manner. To maintain a high standard of service and customer care to Members and Customers. To motivate members helping them to achieve their personal targets, together with maintaining the Club’s performance standards.
  • To make sure all members are correctly screened, inducted and that suitable fitness programmes are issued and regularly reviewed and updated.
  • To be responsible for the class schedule, making sure that classes meet with customer requirements. Making sure that all classes are covered and that the class timetable is reviewed on a regular basis.
  • To be involved with risk assessments and COSHH regulations throughout the facility.
  • To prepare and present reports as and when required on H&S, Membership, proposals for the future of the Gym and others as required.
  • To be proficient in the general operation of the Centre
  • Promote all activities.
  • Working hours are 35 per week between 7am and 7pm but must be prepared to cover holidays and absences.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • To provide fitness programmes for members.
  • To ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and policies and procedures.
  • To ensure equipment and services are properly maintained.
  • Must be customer focussed and have a friendly disposition.
  • Must have the ability to work within agreed budgets and seek to achieve agreed targets.
  • Qualified in spin & circuits
