An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Receptionist to join the Head Office team at Caprice Holdings, Birley Clubs and Ivy Collection based in Fitzrovia, London.

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for our businesses therefore it is imperative that you provide the highest levels of service to employees, visitors and suppliers coming to our offices.

Some of the key tasks and responsibilities for the Receptionist will be:

• Meet and greet clients, visitors and employees of the companies ensuring applicable people sign the visitor’s book
• Answer all incoming calls, routing calls to the appropriate department, taking and passing on any relevant messages in a prompt manner
• Filtering any sales and unwanted calls, forwarding them onto relevant enquiry email addresses
• Oversee the reception area ensuring it is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Responsible for all incoming deliveries, informing appropriate department or individuals of deliveries in timely manner
• Book, and record daily, local and international courier packages
• Responsible for franking machine and outgoing mail for building, maintain monthly postage usage for Accounts department
• Assisting Operations Administration Manager with general administration duties
• Carry out ad hoc duties when required

The successful candidate will:

• Currently be in a reception or administrative role with excellent telephone skills
• Have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Have a good command of spoken and written English
• Be extremely organized and be able to remain calm under pressure
• Have good knowledge of Word / Excel / Outlook
• Have excellent customer service skills
• Ability to take initiative and responsibility when required
• Be a good team player, well-presented and enthusiastic.
