Motoring Events Manager - Woodcote Park, Epsom and Pall Mall, London

Are you a proactive, organised and influential individual looking for that career-enhancing new role but also have an interest in motoring and motorsport? Then look no further as the prestigious Royal Automobile Club is looking for a Motoring Events Manager to oversee the management and delivery of the Club’s Motoring events and functions and become the key point of contact for all elements of Club Motoring events.

The role:

You will manage the required resources to ensure the quality and successful delivery of all member and promoted events and functions across our London and Surrey clubhouses, plus support the Deputy Head of Motoring in the research, feasibility and creation of new opportunities for engaging members and the wider motoring/motorsport communities. Managing the development of the Motoring Events Assistant, improving their skills and value to the department, is also a vital element of the role.

Our ideal candidate:

You will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality event management, preferably in an automotive, motorsport, luxury goods or high-end industry. An outstanding communicator at all levels, both verbal and written, you will also boast impressive relationship-building and interpersonal skills, while strong administrative and IT skills are also vital.

The Royal Automobile Club embodies both the rich history of British motoring and the best tradition of private members’ clubs - prestigious yet always welcoming. Here at Woodcote Park, our clubhouse set in 350 acres of Surrey parkland near Epsom, we’re passionate about pioneering ever-higher standards of dining, accommodation and sporting facilities.

When you join the Club, we’ll provide you with fantastic benefits including; a free local shuttle bus service from Epsom station to Woodcote Park, Perkbox discount scheme, a very generous pension scheme, employer paid health cash plan, free meals on duty and a genuine investment in your personal development.

Most importantly, you’ll share our values. We combine a passion for our heritage with a desire to achieve new levels of excellence. We exceed expectations, treat each other with respect, and ensure mutual trust is at the core of everything we do. If you can live these values, you’ll see your efforts recognised and your potential nurtured in an organisation that’s full of individuals who have come up through the ranks, learned new skills or taken their careers in surprising new directions.
