About this exciting opportunity

Your primary focus is to consistently produce five-star standards of desserts and continually strive for perfection and high levels of member satisfaction. To achieve this, you will utilise your impressive leadership skills to build a strong team, training and developing the Sous Chefs, Chef de Parties, Commis and Trainees to consistently deliver to the expectation of both members and management.

You will also be expected to brief the pastry team of important events, promotions and specific member requirements, plus work closely with the Restaurant Managers to ensure good communication and team work. Assisting the Head Chef to deliver the budget requirement, maintain stock levels to the business requirement, and closely monitor usage and minimise wastage are all key duties, as is supervising all operational and associated production areas to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

What we are looking for

An inspiring, calm and confident leader, you must have a proven track record of working in a five-star establishment, an advanced food hygiene qualification, plus strong budget planning and monitoring experience. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, are also vital, as are strong MS Office and interpersonal skills and an approachable, flexible and adaptable approach to your work.
