This is by no means a 9 to 5 office job; you'll be working with adults and young people on our impressive 7m mobile climbing tower, so you'll need to be passionate about climbing. As a Climb Supervisor you'll deliver climbing sessions using our mobile climbing tower an engaging, enthusiastic and safe manner to climbers of all levels, from children and adults to those with physical/learning disabilities. You'll help create a warm and friendly atmosphere for customers, so you'll need good communication and people skills.

This role will also involve driving, and helping to set up and take down the climbing tower. As well as delivering sessions, your role will include day to day duties, such as equipment inspections and responding to customer queries, so you'll need a positive, can do attitude to get stuck in and help your team.

You must have a passion for sport and people with a willingness to learn. Previous experience in a customer facing role is highly desirable as you'll deliver excellent customer service. Ideally, you'll already hold NGB climbing qualifications or equivalent, which can be a Single Patch Award (SPA), Climbing Wall Award (CWA) or the training element in any one of these however full training will be provided.

In return, we offer a range of benefits that you'd expect from the UK's largest leisure provider:

  • Pension schemes
  • Childcare vouchers

  • Discounted membership at our leisure centres
  • The opportunity to join the GLL Society and have a say in how we're run plus associated social events
