Head Waiter - Daphne's - Chelsea, London

We are looking for a talented and charismatic Head Waiter to join the team of our fantastic restaurant; Daphne’s, part of Caprice Holdings.

Daphne’s, the famous Italian neighbourhood restaurant, bar and conservatory in South Kensington, appeal lies not only in its seasonal cooking, but also its natural warmth and effortless Italian charm, making it a favourite amongst the residents of Chelsea and visitors from further afield. In summer, the bright conservatory creates an alfresco feel with its retractable roof; in winter, a blazing fire in the open range turns it into an intimate retreat. 

As Head Waiter you will be responsible for liaising with the floor staff and senior chefs within the restaurant to ensure the smooth running of each service. As Head Waiter you will supervise the floor staff to ensure all tasks are completed to the high standards expected within a timely manner.

We are ideally looking for a Head Waiter who:

• Have previous experience in a similar Head Waiter role of a busy, high quality restaurant environment
• Have previous experience leading and supervising a large team and ensuring the standards are in line with the restaurants operating procedures.
• Have a good understanding of all areas within the restaurant 
• Have experience of completing closing down procedures at the end of shift 
• Are excellent team players with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Have experience of Fourth, TISSL and FnB shop 
• Possesses a good command of the English language
• Are passionate about food and keen to develop their knowledge on the menu and wine list.
