We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Head Waiter to join the team at J Sheekey, part of Caprice Holdings. 

J Sheekey Atlantic Bar has a horse-shoe shaped crustacea bar with dining for 21 and further 36 can be seated all in vision of our open kitchen providing a relaxed, informal and vibrant environment for our customers. The Atlantic Bar menu has a wide selection of oysters and lighter dishes complemented by an extensive selection of champagne and wines by the glass. Open all day from noon our team deliver engaging, professional and charismatic service to make all our customers feel relaxed and comfortable

As Head Waiter you will be responsible for liaising with the floor staff and senior chefs within the restaurant to ensure the smooth running of each service. As Head Waiter you will supervise the floor staff to ensure all tasks are completed to the high standards expected within a timely manner.

We are ideally looking for a Head Waiter who:

• Have previous experience in a similar Head Waiter role of a busy, high quality restaurant environment
• Have previous experience leading and supervising a large team and ensuring the standards are in line with the restaurants operating procedures.
• Have a good understanding of all areas within the restaurant 
• Have experience of completing closing down procedures at the end of shift 
• Are excellent team players with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Have experience of Fourth, TISSL and FnB shop 
• Possesses a good command of the English language
• Are passionate about food and keen to develop their knowledge on the menu and wine list.
