We are looking for a talented and charismatic Maître d’ to join the team of our fantastic restaurant; Scott’s, part of Caprice Holdings.

Scott’s is our award winning seafood restaurant serving the very finest fish and seafood dishes as well as seasonal game and meat dishes. The restaurant has an elegant oyster andChampagne bar in the centre which creates a sophisticated dining environment matched with engaging service from our attentive and informed restaurant staff ensuring all our customers’ needs are always exceeded 

As Maître d’ you will be working within the Maître d’ Team, ensuring that the highest levels of service are provided to all of our customers. You will be responsible for greeting and seating our customers and taking reservations over the telephone. You will be highly effective at building relationships with customers and understanding their preferences to then effectively communicate to the front to house team pre and during service. You must be a confident and engaging communicator who can build relationships with customers and ensure they only have a positive experience at Sexy Fish. 

We are looking for a Maître d’ who has:

• Previous experience in a Maître d’ role within a busy, high profile, high quality restaurant 
• Have a genuine passion for creating an excellent customer experience 
• Impeccable appearance, an engaging personality and the ability to remain calm at all times
• Have the ability to multi task and effectively react to changing customer needs
• Be a natural and confident communicator both face to face and on the telephone
• Be organised and motivated and see tasks through to completion.
• Possess an excellent command of the English language.
• Be an excellent team player with good administration skills
• Previous experience of OpenTable would be an advantage or similar reservation system
• A keen interest in the theatre, arts, current affairs and politics is desirable.
