We’re looking for a PR Manager to join our Marketing team to develop an enviable corporate image by developing & executing effective communication and media relations programmes.

Your job:
Reporting into the Chief Experience Officer, the main responsibilities of the PR Manager include:

• Responsibility for taking our proposition of “feel good exercise experiences anytime, anywhere” and building this to market Virgin Active externally, on social media, with influencers and in the market place.
• Identifying, championing and amplifying our “business as a force for good” ambitions.
• Creating guidelines and best practice on our social media and influencer engagement.
• Training our Rockstars Head Coaches (Class Instructors),  and Personal Trainers on how to develop their personal brand in line with our guidelines.
• Creating and presenting innovative and impactful approaches to partner with today’s influencers (from bloggers to Instagrammers and You Tube personalities) to develop influencer marketing campaigns.
• Leveraging existing media relationships and cultivating new contacts within business and industry media.
• Maintaining a keen understanding of industry trends affecting the business and making appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
• Working across functional teams to drive powerful customer experiences that are seamless both online and offline.
• Thinking global but understand our audience is very local.

This is a full time role based in our Barbican Head Office.
