The Club:

A fantastic club nestled in the heart of the Locks Heath Community, Anytime Fitness has been open for just under 2 years. We are looking for an exceptional Club Manager to join us.

You will have overall responsibility for the club’s day to day operations, ensuring that they meet our members’ expectations of a premium club. You will also manage, motivate and train a team of staff to ensure they achieve their goals.

Key to the role is achieving new member, total membership and income targets, while focusing on continuing our high level of customer service.

The Club Manager:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing a team of performance driven sales and operational staff within a high quality environment to agreed key performance indicators, and as such outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

You should be able to generate leads and convert them into sales. Experience in social media led sales is a distinct advantage.

You will be proactive and maintain the club to the highest of standards ensuring at all times that the member experience exceeds their expectations. Most of all you must have a can-do attitude, a desire to succeed, and an ability to lead and influence others.

You will be managed against your own and the Club’s KPIs and will be involved at a senior level in establishing it as the No1 health club in the local area.

What we are looking for:

The perfect applicant will have a proven track record in sales, operations and a passion for health and fitness. Most importantly they will need to be a great representative of the Anytime Fitness brand.

If you can meet the following criteria, then we would like to meet you:

  • You will have a proven track record of managing people within a high-quality sales or service environment. Ideally from the Health/Leisure Industry.
  • Approachable and personable with a sense of fun!
  • Naturally sales-focused and target driven with a desire to over achieve.
  • Have a friendly, outgoing personality and genuinely care about helping others to ensure all members and prospects have a rewarding and enjoyable experience at the club.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will have the ability to drive the superb culture within our club and exhibit it out in the local area to your staff, current and prospective members!
  • You will be organised, punctual and lead from the front!
  • You will enjoy working both within and outside the club environment, seeking opportunities to network, market and promote the club within the local community.
  • Have experience managing a clubs monthly P&L.

Desirable but not essential:

  • REPS level 2 or higher qualified or be prepared to qualify
  • Exercise referral (GP)
  • Social Media Management.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Exact working hours will be determined, but will involve a minimum of 40 hours per week. You will have a willingness to work evenings, week-ends and public holidays as required.
