Coaches/Instructors (Self Employed) - Lee Valley VeloPark
Type of position: Casual
Lee Valley VeloPark on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, with the iconic velodrome at its heart, is looking for experienced and enthusiastic qualified coaches and instructors to deliver across all disciplines and activities. The VeloPark currently offers everything from Balance bike sessions for children aged 2-5, right through to high level Track sessions for elite riders.
We are looking particularly for coaches or activity leaders who enjoy working with younger children.
Working at this world class venue, you will be immersed in cycling, so passion for the sport is a must. Successful candidates must have high energy levels, possess the skills to motivate a wide range of different groups, deliver exciting and innovative sessions and inspire customers to help them reach their fitness goals and aspirations and come back eager for more!
You will have a British Cycling Level 1 (or 2) Coaching qualification as a minimum, along with (or working towards) a discipline specific Level 2 qualification.
Other qualifications, such as Balanceability or National Standard in Cycle Training can also be considered appropriate to the work offered.
