Being at GRABTHAI Production facility means working in a high energy, dynamic kitchen. As a Team Leader here you will, ensure that all ingredients are fresh, and everything is prepped to the highest quality. You are responsible for a clean and organised kitchen, with a shared commitment to high standards of preparation, cooking, packaging, service and health and safety.
Roles:
Central Kitchen:
- This is a high volume, fast-paced production position that requires a great deal of accuracy as well as exceptional cooking skills.
- You will be responsible for your department of food production, ensuring that all food and products are consistently prepared, packed and served according to company’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
- You will be responsible for all kitchen-related functions, including but not limited to food purchasing, receiving, preparation and maintenance of quality standards, safety, sanitation and cleanliness.
Management and teamwork:
- You will work closely with CPU Supervisor and Management Team to promote the company’s culture, vision and mission.
- You must act as a team leader and motivator for kitchen staff, thus strong interpersonal skills and be being a clear communicator are essential.
- You will responsible for supervising, training, evaluating, and counselling production team associates to comply with company standards.
Key criteria for Production Chef:
- In-depth knowledge of UK food hygiene regulations
- Ability to cook and prep all food components
- Ability to lead small team of part-timers / 2 full-time kitchen crews
- At least 2 years experience cooking Thai food and must be very familiar with Thai ingredients.
