Team Member - RedKangaroo Trampoline Park Reading
Your responsibilities of being a court monitor at our trampoline park are as listen:
Communication
- You need to be able to project your voice.
- You need to be able to reinforce the rules in a professional and energetic way.
- You need to incredible communication skill and be able to influence even the most difficult of clients.
- You need to be approachable to all customers and managers, remembering your priority is to monitor the courts when on duty. Never turn away from your court!
Endurance/Fatigue
- You need to be mentally and physically prepared before your shift.
- You need to have boundless energy for this role, you are on your feet for a long period of time.
Positivity/Attitude
- Court Monitors need a positive attitude that is infectious!
- Court Monitors need to be self-motivating and understand that engaging with customers will help to influence them and help keep you engaged throughout.
Authority/Control
- You need to know the rules inside and out.
- You need to create an atmosphere of control and professionalism in the park.
- You need to demonstrate that breaking the rules will not go unnoticed.
- You need to lead by example, abiding by the rules yourself.
Teamwork
- YOU need to be a team player.
- You must help out with any circumstance when needed.
- You should be able to accept guidance from your colleagues, even at peer level, as they may have seen something you haven’t.
Judgement
- You need to be able to judge if someone is jumping within their skill level.
- You need to ask a jumper to change their behaviour if you feel it may danger themselves or someone else.
Initiative
- You need to stay alert at all times be able to adapt in a quickly changing environment.
- Know what to do whilst it is busy (peak).
- Know what to do whilst it is quiet (off peak) to ensure you stay alert on slower days.
