Site Managers needed for Signature Groups latest development in Liverpool.

The Company Signature Group is a Property & Development company as well as a successful Hospitality group delivering multimillion pound award winning projects from its head office in Liverpool City Centre. Signature Group has an exciting pipeline to expand its flourishing and unique aesthetic outside of Liverpool in 2017 to vibrant locations including Cardiff, Manchester, Belfast & Preston. Unlike other companies, Signature Group develop properties with our in-house skilled multidisciplinary construction, design and property team.

 

The Role:

The Site Manager will be responsible for the management of the construction site in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers’ objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control. They will deliver on-going projects, to the specified quality, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance. The post-holder will work closely with the Estimating Department, engineers and surveyors to ensure that projects are completed in a safe manner whilst customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Site Management

Ensure the commercial performance of the contract is maximised. Assume overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects. Deliver the work safely and without environmental incidents. Deliver the work to the specified quality without defects. Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, Inspection and Test Plans and waste management plans (as required), in line with Company procedures. Produce and manage the project programme and produce 2 weeks look ahead. Produce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure sites have adequate resources to complete the tasks.

 

Client interface

Undertake an ambassadorial role representing the business to customers, public and official bodies. Deliver end product to customer satisfaction. Cost control, Populate and manage the Signature Living cost plan for the project. Maximise project value. Ensure detailed site diaries/records are completed. Maintain commercial tension to drive out cost and challenge the status quo. Endeavour to spot and highlight value opportunities.

 

Reporting

Produce good quality, accurate monthly reports for the Client and internally. Chair weekly site meetings in line with Company procedures.

 

Key measures & targets:

Monthly and weekly reporting timescales are met

Adherence to Business Unit Objectives Ensure 4 Pillar KPI measures are met

Person Specification:

The successful candidate is likely to meet all of the following criteria:

 

Essential

Considerable experience in refurbishment, fast moving work environments, heritage buildings, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting. CSCS managers card IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS. Excellent communication, people and team management skills Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to conclusion. Ability to demonstrate the right behaviours and lead the team to ensure the culture is in line with our Company values. Ability to demonstrate the right behaviours and motivate and lead the team in line with the Company culture, ensuring high standards of compliance
