The Carrington House Hotel is a 158-room hotel that boasts the hotel’s Mortimer’s Restaurant, offering a varied menu of French and English cuisine in relaxed surroundings. The King’s Bar, on the other hand, offers light meals, snacks and beverages. The Carrington House also provides 2 conference rooms catering for up to 700 delegates and due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Full-Time Food and Beverage Manager on to the team.

Main Responsibilities

  • To take responsibility for all food and beverage service areas.

  • To ensure the highest standards of food and beverage service to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • To ensure that all food and beverage service staff are recruited, trained and developed in line with current and future business requirements.

  • To ensure all control procedures are implemented effectively.

  • To ensure Health, Safety and Hygiene procedures are maintained to company standards.

  • To assist on the day to day running of the hotel and to deal with customer complaints correctly and as efficiently as possible.

  • Organise and run functions

  • To carry out any duties and responsibilities that may be required.

 Person Specification

  • Previous similar experience as a Food and Beverage Service Manager in a 100+ bedroom hotel or good experience as a Restaurant or Bars Manager in a 150+ bedroom hotel.

  • Able to communicate effectively with other manager, staff and guests.

  • To be able to effectively develop an ethos of customer care within the department.

  • To be able to plan, rota and control wage costs within company guidelines.

  • Must be flexible to work in line with business requirements.
