Trading Style

Famed for Charles Dickens staying over at the property, the Howard Arms attracts tourists visiting the local area. Offering a traditional home cooked menu with Mexican and Mediterranean influences, the food at the pub has a great reputation. The function room at the rear is used for private events such as birthday parties. Live music Ukele jam sessions are held every 2nd Thursday of the month from 8pm. Folk session and story telling every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 8pm and live bands jazz, blues, soul and acoustic monthly. Opening hours are Monday- Friday 7am until 12am, Saturday 8am – 12am and Sunday 8am- 11.30pm.
