Creative Aquatic is a regional swim school with strong national vision. Outstanding customer care and integrity are fundamental to the success of our swim coaching and fitness programmes. Not surprisingly, our team continues to be recognised with national awards and we experience an ever-increasing rapid growth rate. We are looking for someone to work alongside our nationally awarded senior coach to motivate, inspire and develop both adults and children in the field of aquatics and fitness.

The job is offering both part-time or full-time hours depending on qualifications.

A successful applicant will be expected to:

• Teach or coach one-to-one or in groups
• Plan and deliver sessions appropriate to the level of swimmer or exercise class
• Provide explanations and demonstrate swimming techniques or exercises
• Correct faults in swimming techniques, identify ways to improve performance and record improvements
• Make sure safety standards are followed
• Organise and supervise assistants and helpers
• Expected to be in the water with students who still need manipulation with stroke
• Pool attending/cleaning/maintenance
• Possibly programme development and administration.

Qualification:

• Swim England/ASA Level 2 in Teaching Swimming or
• STA Level 2 Certificate in Swimming Teaching
• Lifeguard Qualification or CPR Qualification
• Enhanced DSB
