Vistors Centre Retail Manager - Peterborough

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Nene Park Trust for an enthusiastic individual to play a fundamental role in the development and delivery of the retail offering at the Visitor Centre and at Nene Outdoors.  

We are looking for a person to inspire, lead and manage a team of staff and volunteers to play a key part in providing a great retail and visitor experience. You will be an important member of the Operations Team, delivering a high quality service from the Visitor Centre in Ferry Meadows Country Park.   

The Retail Manager will be part of a team that strives for excellence in all the services it provides – from park management and maintenance to a range of services for its visitors who now make a million and a half visits each year.  

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a retail environment with knowledge of retail management, experience of planning, purchasing and merchandising stock and, of course, management skills and the ability to deliver high levels of customer care.
 
This exciting role is a permanent, part-time position working 25-30 hours per week over a seven-day trading operation. The salary advertised is full time equivalent and pro-rated accordingly.
