The site sits at the heart of a retail park, that is set to expand over the coming years, a Cinema complex is due in the next 12months, sitting on one of the main roundabouts in and out of Colchester and sat by a large Sainsbury’s means there is always passing trade. There is significant local housing development in the local area too.

There are +110 dining covers inside, a nice bar area and added to the 80 covers outside in the sun-trap terrace over.

As with all Chicken & Grill Pubs, there’s something for everyone. You’ll find office workers from the local trading estate during mid-week lunch times, families & couples dining in the evenings and weekends, tradesmen enjoying a hard-earned after work pint and retired folk enjoying a catch up.

As with any new site sales are hard to judge but we have taken +35K every week since opening

Management Profile
Driven, guest focussed, confident. You’ll need to understand people (team and guests) and their needs. Our pubs are driven by personalities; you’ll need the personality to stand out and become popular with the locals. A creative streak and eye for detail are important so that the pub will stand out visually against the competition. Financial acumen along with good understanding of all associated legislation is paramount, obviously!

Management Accommodation
There is a well-appointed three bedroom flat above the pub. There is also a staff house within walking distance to aid recruitment of key team

Salary & Benefits

£30 - £55k (single/couple) depending on experience, bonus scheme, reward and recognition, company pension scheme, 5 weeks paid holiday, continual opportunity for personal development and progression.
