We are looking to recruit a part time Leisure Attendant who enjoys working within a team environment. This position involves participating in all activities relating to the swimming pool, reception and changing areas. The successful candidate will possess a NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
A Pool Lifeguard qualification is essential.
As a Leisure Attendant in a 5* Resort, you will have a friendly and approachable disposition, possess excellent customer service skills, be a strong communicator, sociable and have a good team spirit.
Duties as a Leisure Attendant will include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for all stock and the care and control of all professional equipment within your working environment
- Responsible for the cleanliness and presentation within your working environment in accordance with set standards
- Participates in monthly audits and checks on all equipment to verify its location and ensure its full, safe operation
- Provides swimming pool cover as and when required
- Maintains the upkeep and cleanliness of all leisure areas
- Participates in leisure associated events for the benefit of guests as and when required
- Provides reception duties when required
- Responsible for the safety of guests within leisure associated areas
- Responsible for the opening and closing of the facility
- Reports all maintenance requests to Supervisors, especially all health and safety issues
- Reports guests’ complaints, enquiries and requests to your supervisor
- Responsible for the upkeep of materials, facilities and items used
- Ensures that all Lost and Found property left behind by guests is handed in daily to the supervisor/security together with correct forms
- Important documents or valuable items have to be brought to the Supervisors attention immediately
- Adheres to very strict garbage disposal on all floors and areas, garbage has to be brought down to garbage collection area and disposed of correctly in assigned bins
- Responsible for regular checking of facilities and reporting unsafe conditions
Hours of Work:
15 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day between the hours of 5.45am and 10pm working every Saturday & Sunday
Rate of pay:
In line with national minimum & living wage
