Executive Housekeeper - Newport

We are looking for an Executive Housekeeper for Bedrooms to join our Housekeeping team here at the Celtic Manor Resort.

As a Executive Housekeeper for Bedrooms you will be responsible for all Resort bedrooms, Manor House bedrooms and Hunter Lodges, including furnishing, fittings and equipment. Responsible for the laundering of all linen, delivery and stock control and responsible for all staff uniforms, laundering and stock control including uniform and locker assignment.

We are looking for individuals who will be focusing on cleanliness of all the bedrooms of the hotel.  This is certainly not a job for those that like to be office based as this role is very much proactive and on the floor. You will be expected to manage and inspect the performance of a team who is based on many different locations within the Resort. You will need to be flexible in relations to working hours, as many of our event spaces are occupied during the evenings and weekends.

There is a requirement to have previously managed a team, as well as managing payroll, purchasing, cost control, training and health and safety.

This is a role where every day is different; the individual will be required to multi-task, to enable them to provide solutions and guidance to enhance the guest experience. Most importantly, you will need a passion for the hospitality industry and delivering outstanding service and memorable experiences, in an environment where guests have high expectations.

If you are looking for a progressive and expansive hospitality focused team to join, where progression and success is only limited by your desire to achieve them, then this may very well be the role for you.

The Celtic Manor Resort has long been regarded as an iconic property in the UK hospitality industry, with the staging of the Ryder Cup in 2010 and the NATO Summit in 2014 positioning the Resort among the world’s most dynamic and flexible venues. Its unprecedented status as the number one conference hotel in the UK, alongside consistent growth in a multi-faceted leisure market, has put Celtic Manor at the forefront of the UK hospitality industry.

The Celtic Manor Collection offers five distinctive properties in which guests can choose to stay, the  330-room five-star Resort Hotel, 12 luxury self-catering lodges, an historic four-star 19th century Manor House with 70 rooms, the four star 148-room Coldra Court and the Newbridge on Usk country inn with six bedrooms.  Alongside the accommodation there are three championship golf courses, an exceptional 1,500 delegate multi-event convention centre, seven restaurants of which three have been awarded AA rosette status, two exceptional spas and health clubs, and an array of adventure activities, the Celtic Manor Collection provides a complete experience for business, leisure and golf travelers.

With close to a million guests a year enjoying our extensive facilities, it is essential that we have a service and hospitality focused culture which delivers the ultimate guest experience. With a mission of ‘Exceeding Expectations and Winning Loyalty’, we encourage our people to interact with our guests and clients in a relaxed, pleasant and professional manner focused on making a difference every day to the experience of our guests and each other.

We look forward to hearing from you.
