We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for digital marketing and website optimisation. Reporting to the Digital Manager, it is essential you have the ability to work in a fast paced e-commerce business that will allow you to support the Digital Manager in driving the business forward at a rapid rate.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Digital Manager with the development and implementation of the digital strategy for the company
  • Work with the Digital Manager to generate new ideas and create fresh engaging content across a variety of digital channels; consumer website, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Manage the content on the website in the CMS to keep it current, compliant and refreshed on an ongoing basis, ensuring it’s an accurate representation of the brand and individual centres
  • Create and deploy optimised landing pages to improve the customer experience online
  • Support the Digital Manager to develop and implement the SEO strategy, ensuring SEO best-practise on the website, identifying and writing new content and implementing technical fixes where necessary
  • Liaise with the Marketing Executives to develop and execute key marketing campaigns on the website and social media channels, ensuring a consistent customer journey
  • Use analytics to measure the effectiveness of content and identify areas for improvement
  • Use social media listening tools to measure the quality of our digital content and keep on top of latest trends and wider conversation to help shape our digital media strategies and use insights to drive wider business improvements to meet customer needs
  • Support the social media team in the Customer Contact Centre with customer service best-practise and training across our social media and review platforms
  • Manage local listing presence on search engine and directory sites
  • Support centre teams and regional managers with their understanding of the marketing process and any specific digital requests
  • Support the Digital Manager in moving the in-centre digital customer experience forward
  • Identify and champion opportunities to enhance customer experience
  • Be a brand ambassador
  • Provide support to the Digital Manager on other general digital marketing needs including cover during periods of leave
  • Required Experience:

  • Strong understanding of current online concepts, strategy and best practice including mobile
  • Experience of using CMS tools and developing and managing website content
  • Experience is writing optimised copy for various digital channels
  • Previous experience in a similar digital role in a fast-paced, commercially focused e-commerce business
  • Good knowledge of and experience in digital marketing channels, including but not limited to social media, search engine optimisation and non-search paid media
  • Good knowledge of third party reporting tools and analytics platforms including Google Analytics
  • Developing content strategies and content writing
  • Desirable
  • Degree educated of equivalent
  • Leisure industry experience
  • An understanding of the Adobe creative suite and html.
