The Partnership Executive (PE) will support the Commercial Director (CD) in all areas of UK and International Partnerships. The role will suit someone looking to gain experience within the Sport and Entertainment industry.

The candidate will need to show initiative and a can-do attitude, as well as the ability to work independently and within a team. This position will incorporate both account management/client relations and sales/new business. The PE will be responsible for the management of current Topgolf UK partners, including the production of activation plans, reports and recaps. The role will also involve contacting leading brands, that align with Topgolf’s values, to secure venue partnerships in both the short and long term.

The Partnership Executive must demonstrate an exceptional understanding of the sponsorship industry and the sponsorship sales process, knowledge of the Sport and Entertainment industry and a desire to learn and develop within a fun but fast paced environment. They must be meticulous and have an excellent attention to detail as well as methodical and structured approach to the role. A high proficiency in all Microsoft systems is vital. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the CD with the development of customised partnership programs using Topgolf commercial assets that align with client objectives, enhance the guest experience and generate revenue
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Partnerships business model, as well as Topgolf’s overall operational strategy and vision
  • Work across all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, researching, presenting, negotiating, closing through to activating
  • Recognise potential brands that align with Topgolf’s core values and vision and navigate to find the key decision maker within that organisation
  • Support the management and execution of sponsorship contracts for Topgolf UK, building and maintaining relationships with each client
  • Act as liaison, and first point of contact, between designated corporate partners and Topgolf UK in order to fulfil contractual assets
  • Create Partner activation plans and maintain thorough communication with Home Office regarding partner deliverables and activation
  • Assist with managing corporate partnership inventory for Topgolf UK, such as signage, in-venue branding, promotions, digital/media, and hospitality
  • Create and update proposals and contracts for the UK Partnerships department
  • Prepare recaps, of a best-in-class standard, that detail and summarise sponsorship execution, including photograph and data compiling for assigned clients
  • Assist with managing budgets and track expenses for assigned corporate partnership agreements
  • To take pride in both the work and personal appearance reflecting the Topgolf brand
  • To be responsible for own behaviour and acting in a manner that avoids and discourages any form of discrimination or harassment
  • To participate in training, performance development reviews and any other communication meetings required for your role and for helping to deliver excellent guest hospitality
  • To ensure full compliance with all Topgolf policies
  • To willingly carry out any other duties that are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the role and Topgolf as an organisation

  • Ability to work independently – including holding independent meetings and calls
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion

Desirable

  • Educated to Degree level
  • Desire to gain experience within the Sports & Entertainment industry
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, or another pipelining CRM system, a bonus
