House Manager - Bulbury Woods Golf Club

Located Nr. Poole, Dorset we are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our management team as House Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your leadership and hospitality skills at a quality golf club.

Overview of key responsibilities:

  • Manage the Food, Beverage, Event Management and Clubhouse operation, and administer efficiently on a daily basis.
  • Deliver first class leadership and training to the food and beverage team. Recruit team members who have the personality and attitude to wow our customers and then train them to deliver the best possible service through regular, scheduled training sessions.
  • Improve sales and profitability of the catering department, in line with agreed targets
  • Oversee all operational and functional areas of the Clubhouse including opening & closing of clubhouse as well as general upkeep, security and health & safety procedures.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and technical skills within a hospitality environment providing complete customer & member satisfaction at all times.

We are seeking individuals with a positive attitude with a “can do” mentality.

Managing a team of people, previous management experience is required in a food and beverage operation, a keen interest in golf although not necessitated would be an advantage.

The nature of our business necessitates that the successful applicant will be required to work some anti-social hours including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.

This is a live-in position which includes a competitive basic salary and performance related bonus scheme.
