Sales & Events Manager - New Opening!

£22,000 - £28,000 dependent on experience

Reporting to: Area sales Manager / General Manager

Responsible for: Driving Sales and Pre-Booked business

The Venue: The new alternative to clubbing, a lively late night venue, with amazing cocktails and premium drinks and fantastic street food offerings! This, back to basics party bar, is for everyone.  With great meetings and events spaces available during the day to hire, on a prime spot nestled in the middle of George Street

Role Purpose:

  • To grow the business and delivering outstanding company sales performance.
  • To increase sales within the venue over 7 days trading. Main Accountabilities: Income Generation
  • Develop marketing and sales strategies to promote the venue and generate incremental sales.
  • Increasing awareness of the venue private hire and corporate events using contacts and networking in order to gain market share from competitors
  • Generate new sales leads and follow through to proposal stage
  • Convert potential sales leads to confirmed events
  • Ensure that tactics and plans are delivered on time and that budgeted revenues are achieved and exceeded
  • Establish and grow customer and client database and use subsequent data for effective tactical and strategic marketing.
  • Contribute to and attend weekly company Sales and Events and Customer Service meetings and provide management information and customer feedback data, upon which to make sound business decisions.
  • Promote Christmas and special events packages to new and existing clients using existing database and pursuing new potential clients.
  • Establish contact with both new and former clients to generate new income streams and convert.
  • Attend related off-site / client meetings as required
  • Attend networking events proactively to build awareness of events and corporate hire.
  • All new and existing client contacts to be recorded with all relevant contact details and details of discussions and next steps
  • Organising internal networking events for PA’s/EA’s and other networking groups that are beneficial to the business Customer and Client Relationships
  • Ensure that all incoming enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally, and deliver a high level of conversion from enquiry to firm booking.
  • Ensure that customer requirements are clearly communicated to relevant departments, to ensure that our customer experience is exceptional.
  • Organising and targeting the hosts
  • Customer satisfaction management, Tripasvisor, FB reviews, Google reviews, email complaints, all dealt with fast and efficiently
