We are seeking 2 friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our Outpatient & Reception team as Clinic Co-ordinators on Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital's Bank.

As a Clinic Co-ordinator you will provide a high quality, customer focused, professional, administration service to all users of the Outpatient and Reception area.

You will welcome patients and visitors and guide them through the organisation, offering seating and refreshments and helping them at all times as a standard. You will be the main contact for patients in the Outpatient and Reception area and resolve all queries. In addition, you will also provide a meet and greet service for Consultants and be the main point of contact for dealing with Consultant enquiries.

You will provide an efficient running of the Outpatient clinics and associated administration including admitting patients to the department, taking appointment bookings and making amendments as well as taking payments from patients.

The key element of this role is customer service and an attentive, professional and smiling approach is essential.

These are Bank position to fill ad-hoc hours as required according to the needs of the department. The shifts will include early mornings, evenings and weekends.

The Outpatient and Reception hours are Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 9.00pm, Saturday - 7.00am to 5.00pm and Sunday as per the needs of the business.

You will be a confident and customer-focused communicator with a polite telephone manner. Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal with people at all levels in a calm and professional manner are required. You will be able to demonstrate a methodical, organised approach with the ability to manage, appraise and interpret the right data and to present it in a timely and professional manner. The ability to work with strict deadlines and working under pressure is important as well as a flexible approach and the ability to work as a team player and use your own initiative.

Ideally educated to GCSE in English and Maths with NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent, you will have good IT and keyboard skills. Experience within an administrative or customer facing environment would be preferred as well as knowledge and understanding of clinical terminology.
